Not matching through the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) can feel discouraging, but it is not the end of the journey for International Medical Graduates (IMGs). There are several alternative pathways and strategies that can help IMGs continue building their careers in the Canadian healthcare system, as well as the opportunity to apply again the next year!
