Join us for an enlightening session on the intersection of Islamic Jurisprudence (fiqh) and Bioethics, exploring how the principles of Islamic law informs and guide ethical decision-making in the complex field of healthcare

Speaker: Rami Elzayat MD FRCPC,  internist and second year critical care fellow at the University of Manitoba. He is currently enrolled in a Masters of Science in Bioethics at Harvard University. He has studied the Islamic sciences, including aqidah, hadith, and fiqh with local scholars and has served as a volunteer imam with the Manitoba Islamic Association.
